The Federal Maritime Commission yesterday voted on two different agreements filed by Husky Terminal and Stevedoring, Inc. (Husky) and Washington United Terminals (WUT) covering their facilities at the Port of Tacoma. The Commission decided to take no action to prevent the agreements from becoming effective on June 2, 2018.

The Tacoma Marine Terminal Operator Conference Agreement (FMC Agreement No. 201241)  and the Tacoma Marine Terminal Cooperative Working Agreement (FMC Agreement No. 201242) allow Husky and WUT to coordinate on and discuss a variety of operational and business matters related to their Tacoma installations.

The agreements were originally filed on February 16, 2018, and the Commission issued a Request for Additional Information for both on March 30, 2018.
