Port of New York & New Jersey Added to Detention & Demurrage Field Interview Itinerary

Commissioner Rebecca Dye will be in New York and New Jersey the week of November 5 to conduct field interviews related to the Federal Maritime Commission’s Fact Finding 28 investigation examining marine terminal demurrage and ocean carrier detention practices.

The meetings she will hold with stakeholders in New York and New Jersey are in addition to sessions she will hold in southern California and southern Florida.

Commissioner Dye will meet with other interested parties as time allows.

  • Update: Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach: October 17, 18 & 19, 2018 November 14-16, 2018
  • Ports of Everglades and Port of Miami: October 31, November 1 & 2, 2018
  • Port of New York and New Jersey: November 7, 8 & 9, 2018
