The Federal Maritime Commission’s Maritime Environmental Committee kicks off its 2013 Brown Bag Speaker Series with a presentation on “Emerging Marine Transportation Environmental Issues – Seeking Solutions” by Michael Carter, Director of the Office of Environment at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration and Sujit Ghosh, Mechanical Engineer at the Office of Environment at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Maritime Administration. This presentation will discuss present and future environmental programs of the Office of Environment and will include a discussion on alternative fuel source viability.
