FMC Administrative Law Judges met with Chinese Judicial Delegation

Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Chief Administrative Law Judge Clay G. Guthridge and Administrative Law Judge Erin M. Wirth met on November 14, 2013 with a delegation of twelve judges of China’s Supreme People’s Court at the FMC headquarters in Washington, D.C. The judges are in the United States on a privately-organized course of study arranged through the International Judicial Academy, a non-profit educational institution chartered in the District of Columbia.

FMC Chairman Mario Cordero welcomed the Chinese delegation, led by the Honorable Yanjun Wang, Deputy Presiding Judge, No. 4 Civil Division, China Supreme People’s Court. Also attending were judges of the maritime courts of Tianjin, Wuhan and Hainan cities.
