Unified Agenda and Regulatory Plan

Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions

The Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions includes all Federal Government agencies’ regulations under development or review during the 12 months following publication, and is published in the spring and fall of each year. Beginning with the fall 2007 edition, the internet became the basic means for disseminating an agency’s Unified Agenda. The complete Government-wide Unified Agenda is available online at www.reginfo.gov. Questions concerning information displayed on the RegInfo.gov site should be directed to the General Services Administration’s Regulatory Information Service Center by calling 202-482-7340 or emailing RISC@gsa.gov.

You may view the FMC’s current agenda by visiting www.reginfo.gov and selecting Federal Maritime Commission from the list of drop-downs under Select Agency. To access the FMC’s prior agendas, click the Historical Unified Agenda and Regulatory Plan tab at the top of the page.

Regulatory Plan/Statement of Regulatory and Deregulatory Priorities

The Regulatory Plan (appearing in the fall edition of the Unified Agenda) is a single Government-wide document that identifies regulatory priorities and actions that agencies expect to take in the coming year. In lieu of a Regulatory Plan, the Federal Maritime Commission prepares a Statement of Regulatory and Deregulatory Priorities, published in the Federal Register.
