Phillip C. “Chris” Hughey has been hired as the General Counsel of the Federal Maritime Commission and appointed to be a member of the Senior Executive Service.
Chairman Daniel B. Maffei traveled to the San Francisco Bay Area for a series of meetings exploring shipping, supply chain, infrastructure, and technology issues.
Chairman Maffei paid tribute to the life and service of the late Chairman and Commissioner Richard Lidinsky.
Commissioner Bentzel issued a statement addressing ways the Uniform Intermodal Interchange & Facilities Agreement should be amended following the enactment of the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 2022.
