Pursuant to Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Memorandum M-25-21, Accelerating Federal Use of AI through Innovation, Governance, and Public Trust, the Federal Maritime Commission uses artificial intelligence (AI) in support of its mission and operations.

The Commission has established governance, risk management, and oversight processes for AI use consistent with applicable law, policy, and OMB guidance.
