Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act Considerations

The Commission has developed policies and procedures to assist the FMC in appropriately implementing the requirements of the Regulatory Flexibility Act, as amended by the Small Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act (SBREFA). In general, SBREFA establishes certain formal procedural and analytical requirements for rules the Commission may develop which have the potential to impose significant economic impact on a substantial number of small entities.
