Update: FMC Headquarters Re-Opens, Friday, June 3, 2011
Update #3 - June 2, 2011 (8:00 PM): Power has been restored to the Federal Maritime Commission Headquarters at 800 North Capitol Street, NW. The Commission will re-open Friday, June 3, 2011. FMC employees are expected to report to work at their normal duty time. Employees should monitor fmc.gov for any further updates should the situation change.

FMC Headquarters Will be Closed Today, Thursday, June 2, 2011
The Federal Maritime Commission will be closed today, Thursday, June 2, 2011 due to an ongoing power outage at 800 North Capitol Street, NW. While the Commission's website is available, all systems and databases linked to its website are currently down and unavailable. The Commission's email system also is unavailable. We will inform you when the situation has been corrected. FMC employees are on administrative leave today. Employees should monitor fmc.gov for further updates on the situation.​

POWER OUTAGE UPDATE: Power has been restored to the Federal Maritime Commission Headquarters at 800 North Capitol Street, NW. To allow for building and technology infrastructure to be restored, the Commission will open at 10:30 AM EDT on Thursday, June 2, 2011. Employees are expected to report to work at 10:30 AM.
